We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

Scouts are the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation; we change lives by delivering 6 to 14-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact on their lives and their communities.

Welcome to 1st Crowmarsh Gifford Scouts

Building friendships that last a lifetime, at Crowmarsh we pride ourselves on preparing our young people for life.

A strong and vibrant group, we have been meeting for over 25 years providing regular weekly scouting to around 70 individuals in our village and surrounding areas.

Our wonderful volunteers that are committed to making these adventures happen adopt the young people led model. This encourages development of a vast range of abilities such as working as a team, problem solving, helping others and developing and creating individual challenges.

As a result, every week is different – it can be anything from wild cooking in the woods, to model making, or map reading and hiking to community service.

If you think that having fun, learning new skills and serving your community is something you would like to be involved in – please get in touch.
